Product Overview
An O-ring is a ring-shaped sealing component with a circular cross-section. Its size is primarily defined by the inner diameter (ID) and the cross-section diameter (CS). The outer diameter can be calculated using the formula: OD = ID + 2 * CS.
O-rings are used to prevent the leakage of liquids and gases, helping to maintain reliable sealing performance in piping systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, automotive components, and industrial machinery.
Due to their simple structure, easy installation, and compact installation space, O-rings are one of the most widely used sealing solutions. When the groove design and material selection are suitable, and the operating conditions remain within the recommended temperature range of the rubber material, O-rings can provide stable and long-term sealing performance in both static and dynamic applications.

EPDM Rubber Features
EPDM rubber is a high-density synthetic rubber widely used for outdoor sealing applications. It offers balanced dynamic and mechanical properties between natural rubber and other synthetic rubbers.
EPDM is not suitable for continuous contact with petroleum-based products. It is also not recommended for food contact applications or environments exposed to aromatic hydrocarbons.
O-Ring Application Range
O-rings are suitable for static and reciprocating seals, and can be used for low-speed rotary sealing. They are typically installed in rectangular grooves on the inner or outer circumference. O-rings perform well under specified temperature and pressure conditions, and maintain good sealing and shock absorption in oil, acid, alkali, abrasion, and chemical environments. Due to their versatility, they are widely used in hydraulic and pneumatic systems across automotive, aerospace, machinery, chemical, and industrial applications.
