Universal O-Ring Kit Overview
The Universal Rubber O-Ring Kit is an assorted O-ring repair set packed in a compartmented plastic storage case. It contains O-rings in many common sizes for quick replacement during equipment maintenance. We supply O-ring kits made of NBR, FKM, EPDM and Silicone rubber, with standard AS568 or metric sizes available. Custom assortments are acceptable. The kit is widely used for static and light dynamic sealing repair to stop liquid and gas leakage.

Applications of O-Rings
O-rings are installed on a wide variety of machinery and equipment to seal at specified temperatures, pressures and across various liquid and gaseous media, whether at rest or in motion. They are widely used in machine, marine, automotive, aerospace, metallurgical, chemical, engineering, construction, mining, petroleum, plastic and agricultural machinery, as well as in a variety of instruments. O-rings are mainly used for static seals and reciprocating seals, and for low-speed rotary sealing devices. They are usually installed in a rectangular groove on the outer or inner circle of the sealing section. O-ring seals also provide good shock absorption in oil, acid, wear and other chemically aggressive environments, making them the most widely used seal in hydraulic and pneumatic drive systems.

Silicone O-Ring (MQ, VMQ, PVMQ) Material Description
Physically, silicone O-rings are based on silicon, an element derived from quartz. To create this class of synthetic elastomers, pendant organic groups such as methyl, phenyl and vinyl are attached to silicon atoms. Different additions of side chains achieve significant variations in properties. Silicone O-rings have excellent heat, ozone and corona resistance, good dielectric stability, and resistance to many oils, chemicals and solvents. Silicone O-rings maintain the best flexible properties at low temperatures but have low tensile strength and low wear and tear resistance.
Silicone O-rings may also come in a metal detectable variation while retaining the same qualities as the general silicone O-ring compound. RUICHEN Sealing supplies silicone O-rings that are compliant with FDA standards and are suitable for use in food and beverage production lines, as well as medical and pharmaceutical manufacturing. - Raw material incoming inspection standard: ASTM D2000 & HG/T 2579-2008 & HG/T 2811-1996.
- Public O-ring dimensional tolerance: GB/T 3452.1-2005.
- N-level specification for O-ring appearance quality inspection: GB/T 3452.2-2007.
- Hardness measurement model: Micro O-Ring Testing (Type M system).
- Hardness using standard ASTM D2240 Rubber Standard Test Method (Shore A).

Quality Control Process
- Material Inspection: All raw materials are tested before storage, and a report on the corresponding material properties is issued. Compared with the raw material's own property report, if the two property values are consistent, the material can be put into storage.
- Model Inspection: After mold development or mold cleaning is completed on the machine, we test all specifications of the mold to ensure each cavity meets product specifications and quality.
- Production Inspection: During production, inspection personnel conduct timed semi-finished product inspections to ensure process quality and keep the defective rate within a reasonable range.
- Quality Control: The quality inspection department conducts a sampling inspection of each batch of products.
- Production Full Inspection: Optical inspection machines ensure the appearance and dimensions of the product are 100% qualified.
