O-rings are installed on a wide variety of machinery and equipment to provide reliable sealing under specified temperature, pressure, and media conditions — whether at rest or in motion. They are widely used across marine, automotive, aerospace, metallurgical, chemical, engineering, construction, mining, petroleum, plastic, and agricultural machinery, as well as in a broad range of instruments and sealing elements.
O-rings are primarily used for static seals and reciprocating seals. For rotational movement, they are limited to low-speed rotary sealing devices. Typically installed in a rectangular groove on the outer or inner circle of the sealing section, O-rings continue to deliver excellent shock absorption in oil, acid, wear, and chemically erosive environments. As a result, they are the most widely used seal in hydraulic and pneumatic drive systems.
Suitable for sealing applications in automotive systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, construction machinery, pumps and valves, pipeline fittings, HVAC systems, and general industrial machinery. Commonly used for maintenance and replacement of engines, gearboxes, compressors, fuel systems, and water treatment devices. Perfect for factory workshop repair, on-site equipment servicing, and after-market spare parts.
Alongside FKM and HNBR, NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) is one of the most frequently used elastomers for sealing elements. The material is characterized by advantageous mechanical properties and a broad resistance profile. The wide range of applications for these O-rings is limited only by their restricted suitability for high temperatures.
HNBR (hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber) extends the high-temperature range of NBR and is therefore suitable for even more demanding applications. However, many standard applications can be economically realized with NBR O-rings. They are also known by manufacturer trade names such as Perbunan® or Europrene®.

O-ring colors can be produced according to customer requirements. The table below shows the colorful O-rings we have manufactured. If you need colored O-rings, please provide your Pantone number.
We also produce automotive rubber seals, connector rubber seals, power tool rubber seals, valve rubber seals, pipe rubber seals, semiconductor rubber seals, hydraulic pneumatic rubber seals, pump rubber seals, oil and gas seals, food-grade rubber seals, medical rubber seals, chemical equipment rubber seals, and more.
Ruichen always meets our customers' requirements. To ensure we produce high-quality O-rings, our company implements the following general standards:
All raw materials are stored and tested before use. A report on the corresponding material properties is issued and compared with the raw material's own property report. Only when the two reports' property values are consistent can the material be put into storage.
After mold development or mold cleaning is completed on the machine, we test all specifications of the mold to ensure that each cavity meets product specifications and quality requirements.
During production, inspection personnel conduct scheduled semi-finished product inspections to ensure process quality and keep the defective rate within a reasonable range.
The quality inspection department conducts sampling inspection on each batch of products.
Optical inspection machines ensure the appearance and dimensions of the product are 100% qualified.
